Hoosier rant.
It said to post about the Indy 500, so here is my little rant. I live in Indiana, and I do love “the greatest spectacle in racing.” However, due to some ancient rule/guideline here, I have never EVER watched the race live. Because we live so close, they want everyone to come to the race itself, so they black it our on the tv. Therefore, it is an annual thing to listen to the race. This is totally not fair. Just because I don’t have enough money to be there doesn’t mean I shouldn’t be able to watch it. You’d think in our day and age something as trivial as this wouldn’t be a big deal. Guess not.
